Each T2Express version covers a certain range of tax year period, as shown in the download links table. As long as both Start and End dates of the tax year for yourT2 return fall in the coverage period, you can use that version to prepare and file the return. You may notice a return can be completed by several T2Express versions; usually, the latest version is the best choice since it includes the most up-to-date tax changes.

For a AT1 (Alberta AT1) return, a 2-return license is required for each corporation. One is for federal T2, the other is for Alberta AT1 Netfile/RSI Print.
