NETFILE Certification

  • The certification process ensures our software meets CRA’s requirements for functionality, reliability, security, and functionality.
  • myTaxExpress has been certified for NETFILE by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) since the tax year 2002.

Since the tax year 2007, CRA requires that all NETFILE-certified software in Canada can only file up to 20 returns per installation/computer or online account.

Since the tax year 2007, CRA requires that all NETFILE-certified software in Canada can only file up to 20 returns per installation/computer or online account.
  • If you want to file more than 20 returns, please use our EFILE software.
  • Switching to EFILE software is easy as it has a similar interface and works with the same tax return file format (.r0x file)
  • You must register with CRA to get an EFiler ID first in order to use the CRA EFILE service. Find out how to apply for EFILE
